Our Team

All PreviMedica participants are assigned a dedicated nutrition expert to get to know his or her circumstances- test results, medical conditions, health goals, current lifestyle, schedule, ability and time for food preparation, budget and availability of foods, preferences, and support available- all are taken into consideration to make guidance as specific and practical as possible. We continue to follow up with participants to assess progress and if necessary, plans are modified. Our nutrition experts are skilled and dedicated to making each participant successful with the plan.

Amy Pieczarka
RDN, LDN, CCN, IFNCP, CDCES
Director, Nutrition Services

As a dietitian/nutritionist, in practice for over 40 years, Amy is delighted to be a part of the PreviMedica team of exceptional professionals, dedicated to promoting optimal health through customized nutrition and lifestyle. As the creator and director of PreviMedica Nutrition Services, Amy oversees the expertise of registered and licensed dietitians/nutritionists, clinical nutritionists, personal trainers, professional chefs, and health experts committed to achieving the best possible outcome for each and every participant.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Amy’s interest in nutrition as a career began in college, with the awareness that most chronic disease in our country can be prevented with lifestyle. Pieczarka created and directed a leading hospital outpatient nutrition therapy center for 20 years and was in private practice for 11 years. She has provided nutrition therapy to over 5000 patients and has given over 600 presentations to the public.

Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Medical Dietetics from the Pennsylvania State University in 1983, completed the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics accredited internship at St. Luke’s Hospital, Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1984 and has been a registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN) since 1985. She has been a certified diabetes educator (CDE) since 1993. Encouraged by the public’s interest and motivation to prevent disease naturally and motivated by the importance of holistic healing, she successfully completed the coursework and exam required by the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists and became a certified clinical nutritionist (CCN) in 2003, and an integrative and functional nutrition certified practitioner (IFNCP) through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy in 2018.

Amy has counseled people of all ages and specializes in gut health, digestive disorders, food sensitivities, adverse food reactions, weight management, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, and preventive and functional nutrition, Her experience in providing medical nutrition therapy and guidance to thousands of individuals of all ages over the years, has allowed her to recognize effective nutritional strategies to utilize when assisting individuals in meeting health goals. She is thrilled to lead the PreviMedica team to extend this opportunity for optimal nutrition and lifestyle to individuals all over the country.

In Amy’s favorite role, proud mom to two sons, she cherishes her time with her family. Amy enjoys the outdoors, exercise, cooking, baking, football, music, and enjoying the Florida weather.

Eunice Holmes
RDN, LDN
Assistant Nutrition Director

Eunice Holmes has over 20 years of experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics. After a quick stint as an interior design major, an elective nutrition course revealed her true interest: food! She switched majors and began her career as a dietetic technician (DTR).

In 2012, Eunice received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Dietetics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has worked in a variety of settings including an online meal planning service, a wellness mobile application company, and for a meal delivery service. Now, as assistant nutrition manager for Previmedica, she enjoys overseeing the very talented PreviMedica team and using her nutrition and design knowledge to create educational resources and social media content for the company. Outside of work, she can be found in the kitchen, always experimenting with new recipes and ingredients. She is grateful for those who try her experiments, even when they are not so successful.

Jen Mahama

Exercise Specialist / Nutrition Advisor/ Team Leader

Jen Mahama’s interest in nutrition started as a teenager and blossomed in college when she realized that nutrition was something that could be turned into a career. She received a bachelor degree in journalism and studied nutritional sciences/dietetics at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Jen also attended Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge for one year on a national student exchange program. At LSU, she also learned how to cook most of her favorite spicy dishes through culinary courses.

Jen is also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She enjoys helping others learn that exercise does not have to be a chore and can be a fun way to improve and maintain optimal health.

She has previously worked in nutrition research where she studied the effect various types of sugars have on metabolism. Other related experiences include working as a dietetic aid in a nursing home for five years, many years of service in the restaurant industry, and completing a food service management internship at the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville.

Currently, as a nutrition advisor at PreviMedica, she counsels others on nutrition and healthy eating. With a diagnosis of celiac disease, she follows a gluten free lifestyle. She is also a pescatarian who loves seafood, legumes, vegetables, and fruits.

In her free time, Jen loves going to the beach, kayaking, baking, cooking, travelling, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Tarah DePriest
Nutrition Advisor/ Team Leader

Tarah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida State University in 2009. In 2011, she first joined the PreviMedica team as a Nutrition Advisor. At PreviMedica, she gets to combine her passion for science and working with people.

Over the years, Tarah has done a great deal of medical missionary work in Central America. At that time, nutrition education was not being utilized in disease prevention for the communities she was serving. Knowing that nutrition plays a key role in overall health and wellness, she designed a nutrition education program that is still being utilized in four countries. It was this work that eventually led her to move to El Salvador in 2017. For two years, she served as a biology/English teacher for 7th-12th graders in a bilingual school.

Now, as a Nutrition Advisor/Team Leader for PreviMedica, Tarah loves working with patients to educate them on how to understand their test results and apply them to everyday life. Her goal is always to create a realistic and sustainable approach to helping a patient achieve the healthiest version of themselves.

In her free time, Tarah enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, boating, cooking/baking, reading, and listening to podcasts.

Audrey Vero

Nutritionist

Audrey’s passion for nutrition stems from her lifelong love for food and fitness. In 2018, Audrey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida. She went on to get her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University and completed her dietetic internship at the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach. While completing her education, Audrey developed an appreciation for the more holistic side of health and wellness; she quickly realized that integrative and functional nutrition was her calling.

As a Registered Dietitian at PreviMedica, Audrey uses a comprehensive, whole-person approach to help patients achieve the healthiest versions of themselves. She believes that food is that ultimate medicine and strives to show others how they can maximize its benefits within their unique lifestyle. Outside of work, Audrey enjoys running, lifting weights, baking healthified treats, and being in the sunshine.

Basilia Theofilou

Nutritionist

Basilia’s upbringing in a family of different cultures, with the emphasis on the importance of food, meal times and healthy dining, encouraged her career path in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Basilia received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Fl. Prior to joining the PreviMedica team in 2013, Basilia worked as a dietitian assistant at Baptist Health in Miami. In this setting, she shared her knowledge of medical dietetics and increased her interest and expertise in nutrition for the promotion of health and for the prevention of disease. Upon graduating, Basilia obtained a position at Elite Health. As Program Director for Elite Health’s wellness program, Elite Fit Forever, Basilia provided nutrition counseling to patients and helped them follow a healthier lifestyle with proper nutrition and exercise.

Driven by the idea of preventing ailments naturally and emphasizing health with good nutrition, led Basilia to obtain her certification as a clinical nutritionist in 2018 after successfully completing the coursework and exam required by the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists.

As a nutrition advisor for PreviMedica, Basilia loves applying her clinical knowledge when educating her patients on how nutrition can truly have an impact on their overall health.

Outside of work, Basilia enjoys traveling, eating good food, spending time outdoors, and taking long walks with her dog.

Jessica Smith

Nutritionist

Jessica Smith is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Chef with an educational background in culinary arts, clinical nutrition, and wellness. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Nutrition. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship and obtain her Master of Science in Nutrition & Wellness at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois in 2010. Jessica approaches nutrition and wellness coaching with a holistic approach, looking at not only diet, but lifestyle and external factors as well. She has 10+ years of clinical and community nutrition experience, with expertise in working with clients with diabetes mellitus, cardiac conditions, renal disease, liver disease, weight management goals, gastrointestinal disorders, food allergies and sensitivities, hormone dysregulation, and more. She has a specific interest in gut health, hormones, PCOS, fertility, and the use of holistic approaches to support Western medicine.

Judy Llodra

Nutritionist

Judy started her career in the medical field, obtaining her Associate’s Degree in Science as a Medical Assistant. During her internship, she realized this was not her destiny.

Her spare time was devoted to her nutrition and fitness goals, while working for Kelly Services in a supervisory, sales and marketing role, until she was able to pursue her dream of returning to college for a nutrition degree. In 1992, she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Hunter College located in New York City, as well as obtaining her Certification as a Personal Trainer. She then completed her internship in the Bronx before becoming a Registered Dietitian (RD).

As an RD, her first job was with Designs for Health. At the time, they were private labeling supplements for use in their Functional Nutrition Counseling Business before they became the leader, that they are today, in the supplement industry. This is where her passion for incorporating a holistic, root-cause approach to wellness blossomed. Today, she enjoys helping the PreviMedica clientele in this way.

In her spare time, Judy loves running, lifting weights, doing yoga, and relaxing at the beach with her husband and with their daughters, when they are in town.

Lesley Lilly

Lesley Lilly is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and a Master of Science in Health Promotion and Kinesiology. Additionally, Lesley specializes in Functional Nutrition as an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.

Lesley is passionate about helping people live healthier lives! Her motto is, "your health is your greatest wealth." She helps clients achieve optimal health by moving away from the cycle of treating symptoms and instead focuses on addressing the root cause of disease and imbalances in the body through nutrition and lifestyle changes.

As an integrative and functional nutrition dietitian, Lesley is trained to review all systems in the body with a holistic approach to restore balance, health, and vitality.

Natali Castiglione

Nutritionist

A native of Colombia, Natali moved to the US with her family at the age of 15. Her passion for nutrition began as a sophomore in college, setting the foundation for a nutrition focused, fitness-oriented lifestyle. She received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition in December 2012 from Florida International University where she completed a dietetic internship. Her internship allowed her to gain experience in all fields of nutrition including clinical nutrition, long-term care nutrition, eating disorders, dialysis, and food service management.

After graduation, Natali worked as a clinical dietitian for Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She continued to help people improve quality of life through education of proper nutrition and lifestyle choices. Natali is happy to be a nutrition advisor for PreviMedica to counsel participants all over the country and share her knowledge and expertise to promote optimal health.

In addition, Natali is certified as a Clinical Nutritionist, through the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board (CNCB)

As a nutritionist, Natali wants to motivate and encourage people to be healthy and active. Her goals are to educate, advise, and motivate the public about good nutrition and create suitable dietary strategies for different groups of people. Her approach is to use food as medicine and heal the body from the root cause.

Apart from her interest in nutrition, Natali enjoys exercising, cooking, meditating, and reading.

Andrea Stamper
Meal Planner

Andrea Stamper’s career path started with veterinary medicine. However, her true passion for nutrition came to light with motherhood and the responsibility of nourishing her family. Andrea received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Florida in 2001.

Prior to working for PreviMedica, Andrea worked as a Diet Technician assisting Registered Dietitians at UF Health Shands Hospital. She also worked in the outpatient sector as an Enteral Coordinator for Barnes Healthcare. In this role, Andrea was responsible for coordinating formulas ordered for the implementation of home enteral nutrition as well as monthly follow ups with patients for order updating.

Andrea is a native Floridian of Chilean descent. Andrea’s most important and cherished role is being a proud mom to her two children and she enjoys spending time with her family.

Ana Villacorta
Program Advisor

With over 20 years of experience in nutrition and fitness, Ana has worked in a variety of settings, including clinical at Coler/Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York City, public health at Jamaica Hospital, New York, and health and wellness both privately and at different gyms. Combining her love for physical activity and health promotion, she also worked as a personal trainer for over 16 years. Ana has practiced nutrition and personal training in New York, California, Brazil, and most recently, Florida.

Native of Lima, Peru, Ana later moved to New York City, where her mother worked for the United Nations, and she attended the United Nations International School. Her love for helping people came early on, heading school organizations such as Oxfam and Youth for Environmental Action. She then went on to major in psychology and pre-medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After taking a biochemistry of nutrition class during her last year, she decided to put pediatrics aside and get a second major in nutrition and dietetics.

As a Program Advisor for PreviMedica, Ana enjoys applying her passion for helping people to promote optimal health.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son outdoors: biking, running, kayaking, swimming at the beach, and traveling.

As a Program Advisor at PreviMedica, Deborah is passionate about guiding our clients through their health journey with us and ensuring they receive the best possible experience. With a background in client management, she is committed to helping our clients make informed decisions to help achieve their goals.

With a strong focus on customer service and a deep understanding of our lab's offerings, she provides excellent personalized assistance to each client.

Beyond her role as a Program Advisor, Deborah is all about family and fitness. When she’s not helping our clients, you can find her spending quality time with her family & her fur babies. Family is everything to her, and she believes in creating a warm and supportive atmosphere, just like how we treat our clients at PreviMedica.

Being a fitness enthusiast, she’s a firm believer in maintaining a healthy body and mind. Staying active and fit is not only a personal goal for her, but it also translates into her approach as a Program Advisor. Just like how she strives for wellness in her own life, Deborah is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and make informed decisions during your time with us. Her motto is to give your all to be the best version of yourself.

Liz Ferraro
Sales and Customer Support Representative
Billing Specialist

Liz Ferraro was born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended the Universidad InterAmericana de Puerto Rico then relocated to New York after college. She worked for New York Medical College at Westchester County Medical Center managing a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery practice. Liz moved to Florida several years after and took some time off to raise her three children.

As a stay at home mother and her Latin background, she developed a passion for gastronomy and nutrition, which lead her to return to the workforce. Liz has always found an affinity for customer service and nutrition, and due to her exposure to various culinary practices, it has made her a great asset working for PreviMedica. A dedicated Sales and Customer Support Representative motivated to maintain customer service satisfaction and contributes to the company’s success.

Liz also enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting activities with her children, cooking, and exercising.
